Lisa Huntington
I was born and raised in the Northwest, and graduated from University of Oregon with a
degree in telecommunications and film. My first post college job was for a placement company in Portland, Oregon as a sales
representative and job placement specialist, and realized at that time, my abilities and passion were geared towards dealing
with and helping people. I moved to the Denver area in 1988 and while raising my 3 sons, continued my career in sales until
I started in the mortgage business in 1997. In 2004, I started my own mortgage company, and have enjoyed helping people with
the financing they need to purchase their homes.
I have always believed that it is easier to keep clients than find new ones, and have concentrated my energies on providing excellent customer service and care to all of my clients, which has helped me survive the ups and downs of the mortgage business. This same attention to making sure that everyone wins is part of what will make Open House with Style a successful and effective avenue for Realtors and small business owners to achieve a higher level of success in their own businesses.

I was born in Evanston Illinois and my family moved to Littleton Colorado in 1969. I grew
up in Cherry Knolls and lived there until 1980. My parents knew I had sales in my blood when, at 6 years old, the first week
we moved to Denver, I walked around our new neighborhood knocking on doors, introducing myself, and asking if the they had
any kids that I could play with. To this day, not much with me has changed…..we just call that “networking” now!
I have done many things in my career from being an outside sales representative for NFIB with 2 states to handle all the way to managing a restaurant of 60 employees. I am moving back to Denver from the Western Slope where I was the Supervisor for the Grand Junction Free Press Classifieds. I have also been one of the top area consultants for a networking group in the South Denver area.
I know many people in Denver and I am very excited about coming on board as the first franchise owner, and the Vice President of Franchise Support for Open House with Style. I believe that all of my experiences up to now have prepared me for this position and for this opportunity.
